If you’re looking to solve creative math problems or collaborate with fellow math-lovers, keep reading! This Labor Day weekend, the Bay Area Cowconuts Math Club will host our Fifth Annual Math Competition. All students are welcome to participate!
CONTEST INFORMATION
Date: September 4th, 2022
Time: 9:00am – 2:30pm, PDT
Location: Online, through Zoom
Requirements: Grades 5-12
Registration Fee: FREE
Divisions: Contestants will be separated into two distinct divisions. Both divisions will run simultaneously during the competition.
- Division A: AMC10 – AIME level, 12th grade and below
- Division B: AMC8 – AMC10 level, 9th grade and below
Contest Format: There will be two rounds that everyone will take part in: an individual round and a guts round. There will also be Tiebreaker Rounds that only some contestants will take part in; these rounds will be used to break ties that occur in the Individual Round. All problems used are original problems created by the Cowconuts Math Club.

HOW TO REGISTER
If you would like to compete, please register by completing this Google Form: https://bit.ly/cowconuts2022. Please register as a team of 4 or less with the people you’d like to be on a team with. If you have less than 4 people, we will merge you with other incomplete teams to form a full team of 4. Note that all members of a team must compete in the same division. Each team should submit only 1 response to this form.
The deadline to register is August 26, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. After registration closes, you will receive a confirmation email and another email before the test date with your individual ID, team ID and zoom information. Please make sure to provide valid email address during registration. All information regarding the competition will be communicated by email.
